I drive past the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary every day on the way to work. I had wondered about it many times, and I finally decided to take the kiddo there on an afternoon walk.
Tuggy was one happy camper as we got to see lots of birds, some butterflies, and lots of bunnies as well.
Lots of people must drive past this place and not know that it exists. The trails are easy and flat — anyone can do this. The trails are also as short or as long as you would like them to be. Best of a all, it is a beautiful place to be at sunset. The views are amazing.
Like most other places with awesome wildlife, dogs are not allowed on the trails. Too bad, the pups miss out again.
