This year, Tuggy was spiderman for halloween. So cute!!!!
Here are some pics:
Now that Grammy Shirley is doing better, we thought it would be a good idea to visit Tutu Mama. Tutu thought that we we would enjoy visiting Marina Park in Ventura, and we couldn’t be happier that she made the suggestion. The park is beautiful.
As we arrived at the park, we noticed a bay with sailboats and kayakers. Loved it.
My favorite though, and Tuggy’s favorite, was this ship on the beach. They have a line that drops down and away from the ship, where you can hang from a rope and zipline down. So much fun! I wish we had something like this closer to home.
After spending some time on the ship, we enjoyed a nice walk on the beach towards the jetties. The weather was perfect for this.
This photo of Diesel’s paw prints in the sand make me smile.
I tried getting Wilson’s paw prints, but that little prancing boy doesn’t leave any pawprints in the sand. Lol.
After our walk, we enjoyed a few photos with the family.
We hung out a bit at Soter Point, where even Diesel enjoyed the sights. So pretty to see the kayakers and sailboats come and go.
We took a few more photos, and headed out for lunch. After lunch we drove up to Ojai for a bit, and headed back home. Wish we could do stuff like this more often… I am so grateful to have been able to spend time with Grammy Shirley and Tutu Mama. 🙂
We’d had the Orange County Great Park Pumpkin Harvest event on our calendar for a while, but we woke up to a gloomy day. Not quite sure if we would get rained on, we took our chances anyway. We got hit by a few sprinkles that day, but the gloomy skies made for a really cool looking Great Pumpkin in the sky. Hopefully, we get a chance to get on the hot air balloon some other time.
They had a fire truck booth, and Tuggy got a chance to try on a uniform. Cutest firefighter I have ever seen. Lol.
And the search continued ….
Until he found just the right one.
The boys were happy with their pumpkins.
One of the wonderful things about the boys having soccer together, is that it makes it really easy for the families to spend time together. This Saturday, after soccer, we decided to pick up some lunch at Toro Bravo in Costa Mesa and have a picnic at TeWinkle Park. This time, Uncle David and Kristina joined us too.
Larry found a friendly squirrel, who would come up close for a little snack. He named him Kiko.
After TeWinkle, we headed across the street to the Centennial Farm at the OC Fairgrounds.
My favorite, the llamas. Who knew this place was so cool?
