Ok, so originally Tuggy’s costume was supposed to be DJ Lance. We ordered his costume online and his hat ended up being too small. I went everywhere looking for his orange fur fabric, to make him a new hat or make the old one a little roomier to fit my little monsters big head. After all that work, he just decides he isn’t going to wear it no matter how I try. He just isn’t having it.
Talk about last minute… the very same day of Halloween, despite my attempts, we realize he just isn’t going to wear it and we have to find another costume. Luckily, we were able to go down to a Halloween store where they had lots and lots of costumes still. He had a hard time picking between Woody and Buzz, but given his problem with the hat last time, I didnt want to take a chance on another hat and we had him go with Buzz. This was a really good choice, he was really happy.
He made the cutest little Buzz Lightyear ever. I love it.
Somehow we ended up deciding to have a Halloween party for the kiddos. The kids were dressed in their halloween pajamas. Jason, Sophia, Ally and Juney came over. It was great to have all the kids together playing, eating sweets, painting and having so much fun. Gaby brought some face paints for the kids, some paint to make thumbprint pumpkin patches. The kids got trick or treating pails for their goodie bags, stuffed with a lantern to take with them on Halloween, as well as tatttoos, crayons, fruit snacks, and candies and lots of other little goodies. It was loads of fun!
So at the last minute we decided to go to the pumpkin patch. It was a little gray out but not raining or sprinkling at the time. As soon as we arrived at the parking lot, Tuggy starts yelling, excited, “Weeeeeeeeeeee”. He knew he was about to get on some rides. First stop was the petting zoo…
We spent the most time with the llama. Something about Llamas make me smile.
He got to pet a lot of animals.
The baby animals were too cute!
He chased after the ducks.
Tuggy had so much fun spending time with the animals, but by the time he was ready for the rides it started to sprinkle. He only got to go on one ride 😦
We have left over tickets, so we will have to go back soon.
Ally had a princess & knights party for her 4th birthday at Ridgecrest Park in Aliso Viejo. Tuggy had a lot of fun.
These boys have a love + hate relationship. Lol.
It seems like Sundays are usually the days Tuggy and I get to have a one on one time over a special lunch. One thing I miss most about Mom’s is the sopes. Those are too complicated for Tuggy to eat, so I won’t bother making them any time soon. However, a nice little bean and cheese gordita will satisfy the craving. This sunday I decided to make Tuggy his smaller version of a black bean and mozarella gordita, just big enough to house a nice cheesy filling and just small enough to fit his little hands.
So cute. I wish I could have lunches like this with him every day!
I got a really good deal on tickets for a whale watching cruise so the whole family got to go yesterday. It was so beautiful and such a neat experience. So, we didn’t get to see any whales, but we saw lots of dolphins and a sea lion and the whole family got to spend quality time together.
Looking like the coolest kid on the harbor. 🙂
The sweetest picture ever! One of my favorites…
Thats my dolphin watchin’ boy!
Except for my mom who got sick for most of the trip, it was definitely worth it! We will have to do something neat like this again soon!!
