“Bestest” boy in the whole world. Doesn’t he have the most precious lips, eyes, face ever?! Lol. How can you not look at this boy every day and just…. smile. 🙂
Tuggy is now 8 months. He is getting ever so heavy, and every where we go we get comments on how cute, big, chunky, he is. Of course, David’s daily comments about being the “fattest boy in the world” still continue.
Several months ago, Tuggy had just started having occasional tastes of apples, bananas and despite my protests, oranges. Now, there practically isn’t a meal we have where he doesnt get a taste of something that we are having… beans, rice, bread, cauliflower, carrots…. even crab meat if Grandpa is around. He is snacking on yogurt melts, Cheerios, and gerber puffs. He has a wide range of food he is eating…. and with all that… comes interesting diaper changes. Lol.
He loves to stand in his play pen, hold on to the furniture when he gets a chance, and pull himself side to side on the couch. He is starting to crawl better, but he seems to have way better control standing up and moving around then any movement he can make on all fours. He has been trying to stand… and will do it for short moments before he loses his balance. He is so big and strong for his age!
Tuggy is getting a good start on things. He has learned to drink from a straw. He prefers a cup with a straw any day over his sippy cup. He is also starting to throw tantrums, throwing himself backwards when he doesn’t get his way. Who would think that at 8 months he would be throwing a fit already! He is definately starting to get separation anxiety, even when strangers leave the room. Lol. I do have to say though, strangers love him. He scores free food…. pastries, ice cream, orange slices. He is a well loved boy!!
So…. since Baby is real fond of strangers… he smiles and “talks” to total strangers and never seems to be afraid of anyone or cry with anyone, I thought a visit with Santa would be a piece of cake. Not so.
Baby doesn’t like Santa very much. In fact, just talking about going back with Santa made him cry. Lol. We tried putting Tuggy on Santa with Jay on the other knee but that didn’t work any better. These are some of the pictures we got:
