My poor baby is not well. After a trip to the vet, some xrays, and some pain meds, we hope for a fast recovery!
Unfortunately, my Tuggs have been having trouble breathing. We had to take him to urgent care. He had a breathing treatment, and all of this has been really horrible. However, even when sick this boy just doesn’t stop being cute….
We’d gone to pick up Auntie Lola to our usual visit to see Mama Cami, when we spotted a row of tents at the Elementary School down the street. Drawn in from the possibility of tasty food, we decided to check it out. Turns out, it was an annual Friendship Pow Wow that celebrates Native American cultures.
We tried some indian bread, a traditional sweet bread topped with honey and powdered sugar among other goodies at the food court. The highlight of the event, however, were the beautiful and the elaborate wardrobes of some of the participants, huge and detailed feathered pieces, and the cutest tiny dancers.
Tuggy met some interesting people.
He even earned some a cash price for dancing at the pow wow.
They had lots of booths selling hand crafted goods, blankets, leather goods, and other items for sale. These were some of my favorites:
Not quite planned, but the Pow Wow ended up being quite an experience. We had a great time!
