I’ve been itching to go on another hike. After some research… we set a date to go out to Monrovia Canyon Park with Uncle David and Kristina. This place is beautiful.
We had a really good time. The trail is clean, shaded, and not too crowded.
Tuggy stops to put his hand over the paw print on the sign.
I always make sure that Tuggy takes note of the signs. Lots of lessons to be had with each place we get to visit and explore.
This trail was well maintained. There were a few creek crossings, and a lot of it was uphill but not too steep. The waterfall at the end was a nice treat!
The dogs had a good time too.
A “heart” in the sky.
We stopped for a nice picnic at the Fireman’s Flat picnic area.
The weather was great. It was so nice to enjoy some time out to explore nature, get our bodies moving, and end our excursion by enjoying lunch in the outdoors.
